Entrepreneurship for the production of jams in biodegradable containers, Río Chico, Ecuador

Abstract

The article presents the entrepreneurial project to produce and commercialize banana and orange jams in biodegradable bamboo cane containers, at the Río Chico site, Ecuador. It is aimed at developing 100% natural and artisan food products; It also contributes to the conservation of the environment, as it is packaged in a biodegradable container made of bamboo cane. The bases of a business plan were elaborated, in particular the technical, commercial and financial economic aspects, which together with the proposed organizational structure would allow to substantiate the need and feasibility of the project. This will have an impact on the community, female employment and the healthy diet of the population.
