Abstract

Globalization has profoundly transformed national legal systems, affecting both their internal structure and their interactions with other legal systems at the international level. This phenomenon has led to the erosion of national sovereignty due to the integration of global legal standards, often leading to a homogenization of legal practices and a possible loss of trust in national legal systems. On the other hand, transnational corporations have increased their influence over legal systems, using their vast resources to shape laws that favor their interests, resulting in an unequal distribution of justice. However, globalization has also facilitated greater international cooperation in solving global problems such as climate change, human rights and terrorism, structured within an international legal framework that promotes collaboration and compliance with common policies. On the other hand, the emergence of new forms of transnational crime, such as cybercrime, requires internationally coordinated legal responses, highlighting the importance of cooperation and intelligence sharing between global law enforcement agencies. The interdependence of national legal systems through the adoption of international legal practices also contributes to the enrichment of national legal systems, promoting a more cohesive legal environment.
