Abstract

The teaching process is a fundamental component of higher education and is complex and multifaceted, both in theory and in practice. In this sense, the concept of heuristic learning consists of three main interrelated components: the actual teaching experience, the curricular design, and the teacher-student relationship. In general, individual mindsets, beliefs and attitudes are challenging. Teachers can build their development plans around different aspects of teaching heuristics, and with the support of senior management and a positive culture, the teaching community can work together to achieve teaching heuristics.
